[ They can be in the bowling alley, eating bowling alley pizza and actually bowling. Vash is sizing up for his next bowl, but he can have conversation. ]
[ Setsu is probably observing as he makes to bowl because there is no way Setsu knows wtf bowling is. they've learned a bit of it, the supposed Ancient Arts but they haven't given it a try until now. they will help themselves to a slice of pizza in the meantime though. ]
For the most part, it does go over some of the rules. But the clear mention of rewards, housing, really seems to be for the sake of encouraging us to make teams as soon as possible.
[ Vash has never bowled, either, but he can surmise from the location. Brooklyn 99 deduction skills lets him know that he has to knock down all the pins.
Bowls and he gets a decent amount down. The scoring he doesn't understand, though. ]
Yeah. [ He prepares his next bowling ball. ] Frankly, I don't like all of this.
[ well he seems to get a decent amount down so? Setsu will offer light applause. good job!! the game at least seems pretty straightforward. even if they can't make sense of the scoring either. ]
...I can't say I like it either. But for now, there isn't that much that can be done about it. All we can really do is focus on the task at hand: forming a team. [ which, curiously now ] Have you considered anyone yet?
[ cute... and by cute i mean zetsu thinks so, Setsu does not, they merely smile at the small show. ]
Your experiences are just different is all. [ which is to say "it's okay to think that way." ] I'm the opposite in that case, in some shape or form, I'm used to working with someone so... thinking about forming a team doesn't seem too weird to consider.
It could be. Though, I'm more used to dealing with same kind of crowd, it's been so long since I've met new people. [ which they say quietly, not exactly shy, but they seem like they're a bit out of their element. ] I've.. considered a few people, that would likely be a good choice to team up with, yes.
I don't know how they chose all of us, but everyone seems pretty friendly.
[ Aside from the people who are so ready to murder. And, yeah! He does land his pins, but he doesn't bowl again. Instead, he just leans against the machine that provides... balls. ]
A lot of capable people, too. Mind telling me who you're thinking about?
For the most part, they do. Most at least haven't really given me that bad of a feeling.
[ the ball deliverer.... they look down the bowling lane, before blinking back at him. they shake their head shortly after. they don't mind saying. ]
Oh, I had brought it up with Kazuki first... but we decided to give it a bit more time to think it over. To get a bit more familiar with other people. Jonas is the other person I thought of. I know he's already teamed up with Alex, who is from the same world as him.
Those are a bit difficult to work with but, it should be... manageable.
[ maybe... at least they've dealt with annoying and hard-to-like people so this. should be fine. ]
I haven't gotten a bad feeling from them so, they seem like safe choices. [ though they agree they do seem to be good. ] Though.. isn't Wolfwood from the same world as you? I'm surprised you haven't considered grouping up right away. Unless you don't actually know one another?
[ they're only assuming they are because both Vash and Wolfwood have mentioned "No Man's Land" in different conversations with Setsu... it's a name that kinda stands out. ]
I think he wants to, but the problem is we have a third and it looks like you can't form teams with three people from the same place. Kind of a bummer...
[ There's a shrug. ]
I told him to buddy with Livio, but he's overthinking things, anyway.
[ shots fired... they think of another conversation they had elsewhere and, yeah they can see it really is with care. ]
..Oh- yes! Is it my turn now? [ help! they'll move over to try it out if it is. (zetsu setsu Request: [1d20] Roll: [19] Result: 19) ...cool! they hit almost all of the pins except one.

Not really. [ Maybe not the best thing to say. ] It's weird to think about since I'm used to being on my own.

Maybe this will be easier for you, then. [ Forming teams, relying on others. ] Have you already made your picks?

[ Vash says with some increasing confidence in his words, but not the point. ]
Kazuki, Jonas, and Alex all seem to have good heads on their shoulders. Those are all good choices.

It is a bit of a strange rule... since they allow two. [ wouldn't it make sense to force them all in different groups? (no.) ]
He must want to group up with you. [ if he's overthinking it. ]

... He's an idiot, that's what he is. [ But obviously said with care. ] So! Setsu! You ready to bowl?!
