Most of my work is done over the internet. It's rare I need to travel outside of Japan.

I would say the last area is the closest to Tokyo.

I take it you don't have it on No Man's Land. It's a system of interconnected networks that let people connect with each other through different devices.

Nope... We use satellites, which I think would be what people usually call radios? They're more like broadcasts.

In that case, the internet is like our phones, in the way they can connect to each other. Internet connected devices can also connect out to other "broadcasts" that contain different information. That information can range wildly, depending on what people want to share.

Does that make some sense?

Almost all of it. Occasionally it's easier to get what I need in person, but that's rare.

I work out of an office, but it's more like a second home to me at this point.

It's enjoyable and interesting, so I have no complaints.
