[ It's really the way ths circle keeps getting a new person every week I'm losing my mind.

But Wolfwood is going to largely work away silently on making said tree branches, muttering curses under his breath at how crowded this singular tree is getting, and the fact of how depressing that is.

He also puts down a lily of the valley before Shenhe's.

When everyone's done and ready he'll do the usual funeral rites but handwave this because I've looked up enough prayers for 4 weeks!! I've never been to a funeral I can't keep doing this I'm not the right person OOCly!! ]

[ i'm also tired of googling so livio is also doing prayers and funeral rites ]

[ he is also here to support wolfwood, whose manpain shenhe was fridged for ]

[ she will wait respectfully for the rites to be over and then slink on up to him. she puts her hand out. ]

Lighter.

[ He raises his brow at her a bit, but then hands over a lighter. ]

[ she sets the wilting flower she brought with her on fire. it's small and already pretty dry, so it doesn't take very long until it's engulfed. she holds it as it burns, wincing as the flames lick down to her fingers. once they die down enough, she blows out the embers and ashy remains of what was once a flower. ]

[ He watches with attentiveness particularly when the fire burns close to her fingers, but goes up to watching her expression when the embers die out. ]

Your own tradition?

[ she's somber. not on the verge of tears, trying to keep things together as best she can. nothing new.

her the tips of her fingers are a little red, but that'll fade quickly enough. she doesn't brush the ash off once she lowers her hand. ]

[ she's probably doing it wrong, but the insecurity feels so minuscule compared to her grief.
