[ there's a half-grin from where his hands are in the dirt. he seems to be. burying a mcdonald's napkin? it's fine. ]

About as good as any of us can be. [ hmm... ] It's...kind of depressing to see how many crosses show up each week. But at the same time it's good to see them.

[Jonas can do whatever he wants, tbh. Though I, pixi, personally think it would be hilarious if this is the secret piece of key evidence that reveals Jonas killed Shen Qingqiu all along.]

I know what you mean. [...] I was considering getting a second notebook. Just for... messages to them. You know.

[He'd actually talked about something similar with Ylfa but he doesn't want to bring that up right now.]

[ who can say....who can say.... ]

...I don't think that's a bad idea at all. Notebooks are probably cheap enough, but it would be worth it. Something more permanent than what I've been doing, at least. [ writing letters in crayon on a napkin, basically. ] Especially when we don't know who might see them.

Mine was only $1. Well, two, technically, but the other one is for the warehouse.

[Which he and also I have totally neglected but it's fine.

He's quiet for a moment, looking around them, then gestures slightly.]

Does your world have anything like this?

That's not bad. [ that's actually good to know. ] Can't really beat Reaper prices for these things.

[ he glances around the park to where the crosses are being made and the little memorials that're set up. ]

We have cemeteries and stuff for more dedicated places to lay the dead to rest. But it's not unusual for people to make their own memorials in different places for people they've lost. Maybe that's...why I came when Vash asked me last week and why I came back. This feels a little more familiar.
