I was decorating an ice cream shop with everyone else--you, Shu, Alex, all of us still here. We had a sign that said "Welcome Back." And then... everyone who'd been erased came through the door. And we were all back together, the way it was in the beginning. We were so happy to see them... well, mostly everyone was happy. It's a little fuzzy.
At first, I thought it was just because it was only a couple of days after... Nahida. [Vash saw him on Sunday; he knows Kaveh wasn't doing well.] But when I woke up, I didn't feel sad. I just felt... anticipation? Like it was something that might happen soon.
I don't know. It could be nothing. It's just--between that, and... some other things... [He bites his lip.] I'm trying to hold onto hope. Even if it's only a second chance to say goodbye, I want to believe in it.
[He's quiet for a minute.]
But even then... I still miss him. And Netzach, and Yuzuriha. And I wish Eiden had gotten answers about Wenzhou. So it's all...
[He trails off, because there's no way to describe what a complicated tangle of emotions he's feeling right now.]

I don't know if he'll forgive whoever did that. [And Kaveh's heart goes out to him, it really does.] But I think he'll be alright once he cools off. I got a letter from Nahida the day after she... [He falters, briefly, but soldiers on] ...was erased, so I'm hoping Wenzhou will do the same from Eiden.
