Kaveh doesn't say that. He also doesn't question a stranger asking for his expert opinion, because he's kind of used to it.]
Do you mean the available products or the layout of the building itself? Because those are two completely questions with very different answers. [He doesn't wait for Vash to clarify.] Now, my specialty isn't interior design, but I do have something for a passion for it, and the pieces available here are all so... uninspired. They're horrendously dull! Sure, you could argue that some basic pieces are vital for a highly customizable space, but even the craftsmanship is completely impersonal. This building itself, on the other hand--I have to admit, it's quite fascinating. This is one of the biggest shops I've ever seen, and the designers have clearly focused on maximizing the amount of time individuals spend inside, leading them past as many tempting items as possible. I can see it potentially leading to frustration from overwhelmed shoppers, and I wouldn't say I like it, necessarily, but it is quite cleverly done.
[He is, actually--he was coming here to sit and look at the stars, but he stops when he sees Vash. For a second he looks conflicted, like he doesn't want to intrude--but Vash doesn't seem like the type to mind company, so Kaveh makes up his mind and continues forward.]
[We are here!!! Let's say we are at the canal system for now. I tried looking up what the boats in Sumeru would be called but I got tired after 5 minutes
Either way, this isn't a totally foreign sight to Kaveh--he gives Vash a little wave when he spots him, from where he's leaning over to watch them go.]
I wasn't really expecting something like this when I found out we had more space to explore.
Kaveh probably went off after Buzen pretty quickly--but eventually he can be found wandering by the canals, watching the water with quiet grief. He'll wander over whenever he sees Vash, though.]
[AT THE SALON IT IS. Kaveh's on his way out of it; he's in his new outfit with his hair pinned up in a bun and his nails painted, with one of them painted with flowers instead of feathers.
When he sees Vash, he freezes--but it's too late, they're already in emotion range. From Kaveh, Vash will probably pick up on a strong undercurrent of negativity: exhaustion, sorrow, worry, and most of all, old, constant guilt. There's a burst of happiness when Vash calls out, but it's tangled with shame, as well as a hint of curiosity at the oddness of Vash's feelings.
He can't really back away, though, and, honestly--he kind of doesn't want to. At this point, he's starting to get used to people being able to pry into his heart and his head whether he likes it or not, and he just isn't made to cut himself off and become a hermit, so. He will do the next best thing and just... try to forge on like everything's fine.
[THEY DID IT... but at what cost, honestly??? GOD.
Kaveh's feeling that same kind of exhausted resignation he felt last week--with, of course, lingering sorrow underneath. There's still some guilt there, but honestly... it's not as prominent right now. He's too focused on other things.
He's got a notebook tucked under his arm as he walks, though he'll veer over toward Vash when he spots him. Not for any particular reason, just because... well. Because Kaveh is so weak to companionship, and Vash is one of the few people he's okay with saturating in his ever-present misery.]
Vash is unfortunately on the way to the cathedral, probably. Sometimes you want to sit at a pew and view the holy symbol beyond the altar decorated by cherubi piglets. It could be immaculate if it weren't for the fact these two blonds are depressed.
There's a pause in his stride... And comes a sea of sorrow, vast and deep. There's desire. Maybe wishing for gay swords to stay together. It's too sad to separate them.
Anyway, he gives a little wave and alongside it a spark of cheerfulness blooms, though ephemeral. ]
[That's fine, he will do the approaching. He's got a cup of coffee and he's in his new outfit unless the mods appear and tell me it's actually not goth enough or something]
[WHAT A DING DANG MOOD. If we don't get a bar next week there's a real chance Kaveh is going to blow his money on several bottles of booze.
Unfortunately even extremely depressed people have to eat, so here he is--he wasn't planning on tracking down Vash, but as soon as he spots him, he immediately comes over.]
i did yesterday. they were strange and kind of in line with the weird stuff we've been getting randomly across the week. their usernames were stranger.
[SHAKES YOU VIOLENTLY anyway eventually once everything settles, he will come find Vash!! He's brought a cup of warm tea from the cafe. Assuming Vash can be found??? Help.]
[HELP SWEET VASH... Kaveh will go get cleaned up and changed into his IKEA outfit before he comes back out. He's still wearing his new necklace and he winces a little as he walks, but he's up and moving despite the exhaustion on his face. He greets Vash with a small smile.]
Did Alex and Eiden make it back to their warehouses?
[He's just outside his warehouse!! He doesn't want to go far. He's leaning on the wall with his arms tightly crossed and his head bowed, but on the bright side, he's not drinking himself into a stupor.]
Technically he should probably be drunk right now but I don't feel like doing drunk typing so we're bending spacetime. Let's say he's heading for the virtual reality room; he tilts his head slightly, glancing over.]
[OUT TO EAT IT IS. Kaveh's here to keep him company, mostly; he looks exhausted and sad, because it's a Saturday night and they're always terrible--but not as stressed as he was earlier.]
