I don't know if it's tied to a specific one. Offerings in general are from all kinds of religions, but usually they're above ground. I guess I've always just thought about burying mine since...you know. People are usually buried, too. As a kid I always thought maybe putting it in the ground would reach them faster and I guess I never really grew out of that.
Yeah, see? So it's like...sending them off or sending them things that are good that they might want to hear or might enjoy. I think it's probably the best way to honor them and let them know we're thinking about them.
That's not...the worst idea, actually. Something to soften the blow of what we're doing here. I'm not sure I understand why the cafeteria gave us ice cream finally but I'm sure people are grateful.

... I like it. And it does make sense, to me. We do bury people. I know pharaohs in the old world used to be buried with their treasure too.
